Lucas Andrade

Lucas Andrade is a seasoned professional in the field of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) and Process Safety Management (PSM) with extensive experience across multiple industries and countries. Currently serving as the Global Process Safety Engineering Director at Ternium since July 2022, Lucas oversees process safety performance across 17 manufacturing units in 6 countries. Prior to Ternium, Lucas held leadership positions at Oxiteno, where responsibilities included heading EHS and PSM for multiple regions and managing a team of 64 employees, and at AkzoNobel, focusing on process safety management in Latin America. Lucas's diverse background includes significant roles at GE Renewable Energy, DuPont, UNIGEL, and Braskem, complemented by a strong educational foundation, including multiple MBAs and specialized training in safety engineering and leadership development.
