Maité Ochoa

Maité Ochoa is a seasoned professional in materials science and engineering, currently serving as Research Manager at Ternium since April 2018. With prior experience as a researcher at the Comisión Nacional de Energía Atómica from November 2012 to March 2018, Maité focused on the corrosion susceptibility of copper for high-level radioactive waste repositories. An academic background includes a degree in Chemical Engineering from Universidad Nacional del Sur, a Doctorate in Materials Science and Technology from Instituto Sabato, and specialization in Green Chemistry from Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Ingénieurs en Arts Chimiques et Technologiques.
