Manuel Solís is an accomplished logistics professional with extensive experience in the industry. At Ternium since July 2017, Manuel has advanced from Logistics Intern to Logistics Manager, achieving significant cost reductions, including $3.5 million in opportunity costs through optimized materials handling and product engineering adjustments. Key responsibilities have included designing and monitoring mill allocation KPIs and overseeing warehouse operations and outsourced platform performances across multiple production facilities. Prior to Ternium, Manuel completed a Lean Challenge Internship at GE Power, enhancing throughput by 25% through cycle time reduction and minimizing non-value-added activities. Academically, Manuel is pursuing an MITx MicroMasters Program in Supply Chain Management and holds a degree from Universidad de Monterrey, complemented by education at the Instituto Mexicano Norteamericano de Relaciones Culturales.
