🌍 Terra Cognita helps public and private organisations integrate custom, responsible, and sovereign AI solutions that combine performance, reliability, and environmental efficiency.

From knowledge transfer and strategic consulting to hands-on implementation, we support teams in understanding, mastering, and leveraging AI to strengthen their products, services, and core business—while ensuring long-term sustainability and autonomy.

⚖️ In 2024, the French Ministry of Ecological Transition and AFNOR released the General Guidelines for Frugal AI, the first national framework explicitly addressing the environmental footprint of AI systems. Terra Cognita stands at the forefront of its operationalisation, developing training programs, methodologies, and tools to make frugal AI actionable in real-world contexts.

✨ Our key activities:

→ Training programs on Frugal AI: equipping AI engineers and decision-makers to design and deploy AI systems aligned with environmental responsibility and digital sovereignty.

→ Frugal AI & Data Diagnostic (expert agréé BPI France): building pragmatic AI roadmaps based on genuine business needs—rather than defaulting to AI adoption.

→ SEEDS methodology (Sustainable, Energy-aware, Efficient Design of AI Systems): a structured framework helping AI teams design efficient systems from the start, leveraging optimisation techniques (pruning, quantisation, hardware-aware design) and balancing performance with environmental impact.
