Donald Freeston

Donald Freeston, PE, has extensive experience in electrical engineering and management, with a career spanning over three decades. Freeston began with the US Navy as a Nuclear Field Electrician, overseeing electrical power generation and nuclear reactor systems. Following military service, Freeston held positions as an Electrical Engineer at Teng & Associates and a Senior Electrical Engineer at Larson Engineering. From September 2004 to March 2007, Freeston served as the Director of Electrical Engineering at Patrick Engineering, managing the day-to-day operations of the electrical team on large industrial projects, then transitioned to the Director of MEP Building Systems, overseeing mechanical and electrical design projects. After a role as Managing Director at Hinkle Engineering, Freeston returned to the electrical engineering field and currently holds the position of Director of Electrical Engineering at TERRA Engineering, leading another team focused on large programmatic projects in various markets.
