Terra Labs builds bioregenerative hardware and inference infrastructure for closed biological systems.

From coastal restoration to spacecraft life support — one technical framework, applied across Earth and beyond.

The Terra Labs portfolio spans sensors, bioreactors, bioremediation rovers, scientific instrumentation, and bioregenerative life support subsystems. Every product is a physical bounded biological system, and every system runs on a single technical foundation: hierarchical Bayesian inference for bounded biological systems with explicit uncertainty propagation.

Earth Systems. Distributed closed-system sensors, coral evolution accelerators, closed-loop aquaculture, autonomous bioremediation. Built for the operators who actually run these systems — aquaculturists, restoration scientists, controlled-environment ag managers, remediation contractors.

Space Systems. Bioregenerative life support subsystems for commercial space stations and analog habitats. Water recovery, atmospheric processing, plant growth, biological waste treatment. Built for the next generation of human spaceflight infrastructure.

Scientific Instrumentation. The Synthetic Gaia platform — productized closed-biosphere research instruments for university labs, national research programs, and astrobiology work.

Founded in 2024. Based in San Diego, California with operations across Hawaiʻi and Oregon.

Defensible numbers. Defensible biology. Defensible decisions.

Bounded systems biology. Est. 2026.
