Steven Grimm

Steven Grimm has a diverse work experience spanning several decades. Steven currently works as a Senior Software Engineer at Terraformation Inc. since October 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Segovia Corporation for six years as a Software Engineer, where they were responsible for the architecture and implementation of a payment gateway and recipient tracking back-end service. Steven also handled deployment and monitoring of services. Before Segovia Corporation, Steven worked at Facebook for several years, starting as an Engineer in 2006 and later becoming a Consultant. During their time at Facebook, they optimized the back-end caching service, implemented a fanout proxy for distributed cache invalidation, and led exploratory projects for alternate PHP runtime and database systems. Earlier in their career, they were a Consultant at IronPlanet from 2000 to 2005, where they led the initial engineering effort and helped hire permanent engineering staff. Steven played a key role in designing and implementing core auction and real-time update technologies. Steven's work experience also includes roles at HearMe, Enterprise Integration Technologies, TeamOne Systems, Sun Microsystems, Quantum Microsystems Inc., and Plum Software, where they held various engineering positions and contributed to developing and implementing software solutions.

Steven Grimm attended the University of California, Santa Cruz, from 1986 to 1991, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
