Nick Ely is a seasoned mechanical engineer with extensive experience in robotics and engineering design. Currently serving as Principal Mechanical Engineer at Terran Robotics since February 2022, Nick previously worked at PDF, Inc. from October 2011 to February 2022, where roles included Robotics Engineer, Plant Engineer/Special Projects, IT Support, CAD Administrator, Engineer, and Engineering Manager, focusing on improving assembly lines and designing custom machines. Earlier positions as Mechanical Designer and Contract Engineer at Otis Elevator and Drafter at Sabin Corporation further contributed to Nick’s technical expertise. Nick holds an Associate of Applied Science in Mechanical Design from Ivy Tech Community College.
