Adam Gonnering

Adam Gonnering, PE, is a skilled engineering professional with extensive experience in system design and project management within the energy and technology sectors. Currently serving as a System Design Engineer at TerraPower LLC since July 2022, Adam previously held the position of Sr. Design Engineer at NextEra Energy, Inc. from November 2020 to July 2022. Prior roles include Director of Engineering Support and Process Engineer at SHINE Medical Technologies, Inc. Adam has also worked as a Sr. Engineer at Amec Foster Wheeler and held several roles at Xcel Energy, including Configuration Management Supervisor and Design Engineer. Adam began their career as an HVAC Designer at Arnold & O'Sheridan. Academic credentials include a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville and additional training at the National Academy for Nuclear Training.
