Benoit Dionne

Benoit Dionne, Ph.D., is a nuclear engineering leader with over two decades of diverse experience in industry, academia, and national laboratories. Currently serving as the Natrium Safety and Engineering Analysis Director at TerraPower, Benoit has previously held positions such as Conversion Analysis & Methods Section Manager at Argonne National Laboratory and built critical teams within various nuclear technology settings. They have demonstrated expertise in reactor design, safety analysis, and innovative problem-solving, contributing significantly to the transition of reactors from highly enriched to low enriched uranium. Benoit is pursuing a Master of Science in Energy Engineering at Polytechnique Montréal and a Bachelor of Science in Physics at Université de Montréal, while having earned a Ph.D. in Nuclear Sciences and Engineering from the University of Florida.
