Edward Wilson

Edward Wilson is a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer at TerraPower, focusing on the Natrium Gen IV Nuclear Reactor Enclosure System since January 2025. Prior experience includes roles at EDF Energy as a NSSS Support Engineer, where support for the Nuclear Steam Supply System at the Hinkley Point C project was provided, and as a Student Engineer at Atkins, where work on fuel route safety cases for Advanced Gas Cooled Reactor power stations occurred. Edward's tenure also includes experiences as a Mechanical Engineer and Associate Mechanical Engineer at FuelCell Energy, contributing to mechanical design and development of solid oxide fuel cell products. Additionally, experience as an independent contractor at Acumentrics, Inc. involved mechanical engineering of rugged power supplies, and Edward holds a first-class honours degree from the University of Southampton. Edward also serves as Energy Transition & Climate Science Lead at The Borrowed Earth Project, contributing to discussions on energy transition topics.
