Gregory Faust

Gregory Faust is a Senior Test Engineer and Solidworks Designer at TerraPower since July 2023. Previously, Gregory served as a Senior Engineer in Fluids Design and Process at Upward Farms from September 2021 to January 2023, where leadership was demonstrated in the redesign and scale-up of an irrigation system for a large aquaponic vertical farm, involving extensive equipment worth $17 million. Prior experience includes a role as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Apeel Sciences from December 2016 to April 2021, overseeing a $20 million project that involved the manufacturing and upgrading of GMP mixing systems and the development of a custom industrial reverse osmosis system. Earlier at Apeel Sciences, Gregory contributed to the design and operation of a mobile system that secured the company's inaugural contract and successfully reduced the costs of a mixing system by 90%. Gregory started the career as a Maintenance Engineer at Imerys Filtration in mid-2016 and holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from UC Santa Barbara, completed in 2016.
