Jared Harper, P.E., is currently the Deputy Manager of System Design for the MCFR at TerraPower LLC. With a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Louisiana Tech University, Jared has a multifaceted engineering background in both the nuclear and oil/gas industries. Their experience includes roles as a Mechanical Engineer at Bechtel Corporation, where they provided engineering support for safety-related items, and earlier positions at Keystone Engineering Inc. and Rock-Tenn Company, focusing on various engineering analyses and system optimizations. Jared actively oversees fuel-related and process-related activities in their current role, contributing significantly to the advancement of the MCFR program.
