John Bauer

John Bauer is an experienced engineering professional with a robust background in mechanical systems and project management. Currently serving as Manager of Process and Equipment Engineering at TerraPower LLC since August 2016, John has previously held multiple roles at Bechtel National and Bechtel Power Corporation from 2005 to 2016, focusing on mechanical design engineering and system integration for nuclear and fossil power plants. John has contributed to various projects including safety instrument calculations, multi-discipline design teams for new nuclear reactor designs, and the replacement of critical plant components. John holds both a Bachelor's degree and an MBA in Mechanical Engineering from Washington State University.
