Joseph Thomas

Joseph Thomas, PE, has extensive experience in the nuclear power industry, currently serving as Manager of Plant Maintenance and Operational Design Integration at TerraPower since January 2022. In previous roles at TerraPower, Joseph held positions including Operations and Maintenance Integration Lead and Principal Plant Integration Engineer. Prior to joining TerraPower, Joseph worked at Luminant from January 2019 to January 2022 as a Senior Reactor Operator and SRO Candidate, and earlier as a Senior Evaluator on loan from Comanche Peak Nuclear Power Plant at the Institute of Nuclear Power Operations from January 2017 to December 2018. Joseph's tenure at Luminant began in 2009, where responsibilities included Nuclear Oversight in Engineering, Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor, participation in the Joint Engineering Team, and System Engineer. Joseph holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Arlington.
