Oleg Boychenko

Oleg Boychenko is a motivated Senior Probabilistic Risk Assessment Engineer currently working at TerraPower on improving the safety and reliability of the eVinci non-light water reactor. Previously, Oleg developed Probabilistic Risk Assessment models for nuclear plants at Westinghouse Electric Company, focusing on the eVinci microreactor. Oleg also served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Pittsburgh, where they developed algorithms for numerical simulations and applied Monte Carlo methods. Oleg earned both a Master’s degree and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh, with impressive academic achievements.
