Philip Britt

Philip Britt is a Monte Carlo Particle Transport Specialist with extensive experience in software design in C++ and Python, particularly for nuclear software packages. They conducted research focused on variance reduction methods in Monte Carlo simulations while serving as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2016 to 2021. Philip holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Nuclear Engineering from the same institution, where they specialized in Monte Carlo methods for particle transport. They have also worked with Oak Ridge National Laboratory and held positions at Duke Energy Corporation, where they contributed as a Reactor Engineer.
