Ryan Konop

Ryan Konop, PE, is a Senior Fuel Handling Engineer at TerraPower, LLC, where they apply their engineering expertise to develop innovative solutions. Previously, Ryan served as a Mechanical Engineer at Battelle Memorial Institute, providing design support for contracts with the Department of Homeland Security and TSA, and as a Senior Project Engineer at BioAir Solutions, LLC, focusing on biological odor control systems. Ryan also worked as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Holtec International and began their career at Resintech, Inc., overseeing manufacturing equipment. Ryan holds a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University and two Bachelor's degrees, one in Mechanical Engineering from Rutgers University and another in Applied Physics from Richard Stockton College of New Jersey.
