Tyler Susa

Tyler Susa is a professional with extensive experience in risk management, insurance, and engineering within the nuclear energy and defense sectors. Currently serving as the Manager of Risk & Insurance at TerraPower since July 2023, Tyler previously held the position of Vice President at Marsh, focusing on risk advisory in the North American Nuclear Energy Center of Excellence. Tyler's background includes significant leadership roles in the US Navy as a Submarine C4I Modernization Officer and Nuclear Submarine Division Officer, where responsibilities involved the management of advanced engineering projects and supervision of large teams. Additionally, Tyler conducted coastal hazards research as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at Oregon State University. Tyler holds a Master of Science in Geographic Information Science and Cartography from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Science in Geology/Earth Science from Oregon State University.
