Young-Min Kwon

Young-Min KWON is a Principal Engineer specializing in Nuclear Safety & Licensing at TerraPower LLC since November 2012, focusing on safety analysis methods and assessments for Sodium-cooled Fast Reactors (SFR) and Molten Chloride Fast Reactors (MCFR). Prior to this role, Young-Min KWON served as a Principal Researcher at the Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute (KAERI) from February 1986 to August 2011, where significant contributions included research and development for GEN-IV SFR technology and the conceptual design of the KALIMER reactor. Young-Min KWON holds a Ph.D. in Nuclear Engineering from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST).
