Alpha Wang 王驰

Alpha Wang 王驰 has extensive experience in the tech industry. Alpha began their career in 2004 when they founded ucancome.com, the first online social website dedicated for Chengdu Foreign Languages School. In 2012, they joined the University of Southern California as a Research Assistant, where they spent 2+ years working on first and second generation of D-Wave quantum computer, including testing, qubit level software programming, algorithms etc. Alpha published 5 papers as first author in the field of network algorithms and quantum computations. In 2016, they became Co-Founder of Pastoral Inc., where they built highly integrated, easily deployable and modular IoT solutions in the sense of both hardware and software for farms. In 2017, they founded TerraQuanta 大地量子, where they serve as Founder & CEO.

Alpha Wang received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University between 2007 and 2011. Alpha then went on to pursue a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering at the University of Southern California from 2011 to 2013. Finally, Alpha Wang completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Electrical Engineering at the University of Southern California in 2016. Prior to this, Alpha Wang attended Chengdu Foreign Languages School from 2001 to 2007.
