Justin Provchy

Justin Provchy has a long history of experience in automation and engineering. Justin began their career in 2002 as an Analyst at Ionian Technologies, where they created data reduction algorithms for SNP genotyping on commercial Micromass time-of-flight mass spectrometers, co-wrote and edited training for customers using Waters HPLC and Micromass mass spectrometer systems, and conducted training courses for customers. In 2003, they joined Amgen as a Principal Engineer, where they designed and implemented custom automated equipment in support of research, development, and manufacturing functions. Justin also designed, fabricated, and assembled custom devices and wrote software for controlling the platforms, as well as performed custom automated integrations in support of multiple functions within Research & Development. Most recently, in 2021, Justin joined Terray Therapeutics as Director of Automation.

Justin Provchy obtained a B.A. of Mathematics from California State University, Fresno from 1997 to 2001. Justin then went on to receive a Masters of Bioscience from Keck Graduate Institute from 2001 to 2003. Finally, they completed a Master of Science (M.S.) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles from 2014 to 2017.
