Matthew Lyons

Matthew Lyons has held various positions in the research and laboratory fields since 2014. Matthew started as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where they worked with Dr. Tiffany Jamann, Dr. David Walker, and Dr. Elizabeth Ainsworth. Matthew then became a Research Technician at the SoyFACE Research Facility in the University of Illinois' Department of Plant Biology. In 2017, they joined Northland Labs/Matrix Sciences as a Microbiology Technician I. In 2019, they began working at Matrix Sciences as a Laboratory Technician, an extension of their previous role at the Mt. Prospect, IL location. Matthew also worked as a Plant Biotech Research Technician at Rinati Skin, LLC that same year. In 2021, they became a Research Associate at Westwood Bioscience, Inc. and they are currently a Research Associate at Terray Therapeutics.

Matthew Lyons graduated from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Crop Sciences: Plant Biotechnology and Molecular Biology.
