David Harry

SVP, Tree R&D at TerViva

David’s breadth of experience encompasses both plants and animals and includes stints as a federal research scientist, university faculty and researcher, industry scientist, private consultant and USDA research advisor/manager. He is a former faculty member at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and Oregon State University, where he taught tree breeding and genetics. David earned an MS in forestry at UC Berkeley and then went on to do a PhD in genetics.
