Jake Olson currently serves as the R&D Director and Senior Product Manager at Terviva, where leadership of a multi-disciplinary R&D team focuses on developing 1st-generation plant-based ingredients from the Pongamia tree crop, alongside directing laboratory operations and an analytical chemistry program. In addition, Jake Olson is a member of the Executive Steering Committee for Health and Nutrition at AOCS and has previously held positions at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, contributing as an Assistant Scientist, Research Associate, and Research Assistant in functional feed ingredients and the study of dietary lipids on animal health. Educational credentials include a PhD in Molecular and Environmental Toxicology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a BS in Cellular/Molecular Biology from Montana Technological University.
