Allene Diaz

Allene Diaz currently serves as the Senior Vice President, R&D Portfolio Management at GlaxoSmithKline and Head of Program Strategy at Tesaro. She served as Senior Vice President, Global Commercial Development at TESARO from May 2015 to September 2019. She has been a member of the TESARO Executive Leadership Team since 2016.

Prior to her tenure at TESARO, Ms. Diaz worked in a variety of roles at EMD/Merck Serono divisions of Merck KGaA from 2008-2015. She served as Senior Vice President, Managed Markets, Senior Vice President, Head of US Oncology Commercial, Vice President, Oncology Marketing, Head of Global Strategic Planning and as the Head of the Global Oncology Business Unit.

Prior to Merck Serono, Ms. Diaz held management and operating roles at Parke-Davis, Pfizer, Biogen (IDEC), and Amylin Pharmaceuticals in Sales, Medical Affairs, Marketing, New Product Planning, and Portfolio and Decision Analysis.
