Colm O'Connell serves as the Head of Legal & Regulatory at Tesco Mobile since November 2018, providing legal and regulatory counsel across the business and managing the Group's Risk & Compliance programme. Prior to this role, Colm held the position of Head of Legal and Compliance at Tesco Ireland from March 2014 to October 2018, overseeing the Compliance Programme, offering legal advice, managing litigated claims, and acting as Company Secretary. Colm previously advanced to Head of Regulation & Compliance after completing the Tesco Management Programme, where responsibilities included managing the Group's Ethics & Compliance programme. Colm's legal career began as Legal Counsel at Tesco Ireland Limited from 2009 to 2014 and as Associate Solicitor at BCM Hanby Wallace from 2004 to 2008. Colm holds a BA Hons in English from University College Dublin.
