John Preston has a diverse work experience in the telecommunications industry. John started their career in 1996 with BT as a Private Circuit Job Controller. John then moved to BT Cellnet in 1999 as a Complaint Improvement Manager. In 2000, they joined O2 UK as a Process Manager and later became a Process Workstream Leader from 2003 to 2005. John then joined O2 in 2005 as a Billing & Payment Performance Manager, responsible for monitoring KPIs and driving performance improvements. In 2008, they joined Tesco Mobile, where they held various roles including Head of Billing, Collections, Risk and Assurance and is currently serving as the Head of Finance Operations.
John Preston attended Guiseley School from 1976 to 1981, where they studied English, Maths, Statistics, 3 Sciences, German, French, and Geography. John then enrolled in Kitson College of Technology and Leeds Metropolitan University from 1981 to 1984, focusing on BTEC studies in Electrical and Telecomms.
