Alexandra Smith

Alexandra Smith, Chartered FCIPD, currently serves as the Group People Services Director at Tesco, responsible for the strategic vision and operational deployment of HR Shared Services for 325,000 employees. Alexandra leads an international team of 670, delivering enhanced colleague services across various regions. Prior to this role, Alexandra held several key positions within Tesco, including UK People Services Director and Head of UK Colleague Services, as well as Regional People Partner for South Distribution Centres, where a 'Rising Star' award was received. Alexandra's extensive experience encompasses HR leadership, talent management, and operational HR functions, supported by a Master's in Professional Human Resources from BPP University and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Leeds.
