Dave Anderson

Dave Anderson is an experienced cybersecurity professional currently serving as the Security Engineering Manager at Tesco since March 2022, managing a team focused on threat-led detection capabilities. Prior roles include Senior Cyber Security Engineer and Cyber Security Engineer, where Dave contributed to SIEM data quality initiatives and supported detection engineering. At CyberProof, as the Senior Sentinel SIEM Expert BAU, Dave developed services for Microsoft Sentinel, enhancing operational insights for clients. Previously at BT, responsibilities included consulting on customer projects and utilizing various tools for security use cases. Dave's early experience includes roles at the UK Ministry of Defence, where significant contributions to cybersecurity and infrastructure management were made, and as a Local Data Protection Officer at the Child Maintenance and Enforcement Commission.
