Elizabeth McNulty

Elizabeth McNulty is an experienced professional in food safety and incident response, currently serving as the Head of Product Incident Response at Tesco PLC since May 2013. In this role, Elizabeth is responsible for establishing and maintaining an incident response function within the Trading Law and Technical department, overseeing all product incidents across multiple trading countries. Previously, Elizabeth worked as the Head of Incident Response at the Food Standards Agency, where key responsibilities included initiating national product recalls and managing high-profile food investigations. Elizabeth has also held positions as a Senior Food Safety Officer at the Borough Council of Kings Lynn & West Norfolk, a Food Safety Officer at Knowsley Council, and has foundational experience as a Deputy QA Manager and a Microbiologist at PepsiCo, Premier Foods, and Mars. Elizabeth holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Food and Nutrition with Microbiology from FL Calder College Liverpool.
