Gemma Brierley

Gemma Brierley is a seasoned Group Sustainability Director at Tesco and a Non-Executive Director at Aldersgate Group. With over 20 years of international experience, Gemma has held executive roles, including Global Director of Sustainable Sourcing and Human Rights at Danone and Chief Operating Officer at IKEA Southeast Asia, where they focused on sustainability and ethical sourcing. Gemma's education includes a BSc in Software Engineering from Nottingham Trent University and participation in the Executive Programme at Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership. They are also a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, committed to promoting a more resilient future.
