John Scott

John Scott has extensive experience in transport and logistics management, with a career spanning from September 1978 to the present. Initial roles included Transport Manager and Operational Manager at Exel Logistics, where responsibilities spanned multiple locations. Following this, John served as National Transport Manager at BDM Secure Storage, overseeing a national fleet across various locations. John transitioned to Cert Logistics as Operations Manager and Transport Manager, managing operations at the Leicester depot and later moving to Dunstable. Since July 2001, John has held dual roles at Tesco PLC, as Transport Operations Manager at the Welham Green site and currently assisting with operations at the new Distribution Centre in Reading, Berkshire. Notable early experience includes a short-term contract as Transport Manager at Wincanton Logistics, contributing to the initiation of a major food processor contract.
