Jonathan Barton

Jonathan Barton is a seasoned professional in the insurance industry, currently serving as Senior Pricing Manager at Tesco Underwriting since November 2018. Previously, Jonathan held the role of Capital and Solvency II Actuary at Allianz Insurance, where responsibilities included producing quarterly SII technical provisions and managing premium and reserve risk elements of the Internal Model. Jonathan's career also includes leadership positions such as Head of SME Pricing at Zurich Insurance Company Ltd and Chief Pricing Actuary at Zurich Financial Services Australia. A strong foundation in mathematics was established through a Master of Arts degree from the University of Oxford, completed in 2003.
