Matt Coote

Matt Coote has extensive experience in retail management, beginning with a role as Department Manager at Morrisons from May 2000 to August 2004, where participation in a management development program laid a foundation for future leadership. Coote advanced to various positions at Tesco, including Lead Manager at Altrincham Extra, where the focus was on managing a high-profile store. Other notable roles within Tesco include Stock Control Manager and Convenience Store Manager, overseeing multiple sites in Greater Manchester. Prior to Tesco, Coote worked at Safeway as a Lead Night Manager and Section Manager from February 1996 to May 2000. Coote holds a GCSE from Reddish Vale School and A Levels in Business Studies from North Area College.
