Robert Cooke has extensive experience in commercial operations and buying within the retail sector. Currently serving as the Commercial Operations Director at Tesco PLC since May 2013, Robert also holds the position of Director General Merchandise for Central Europe and Turkey. Prior to joining Tesco, Robert was the Head of Buying at J Sainsbury's Plc from January 2011 to May 2013 and the Head of Non-Food Transformation at Sainsbury's between 2006 and 2010. Robert's career began at Woolworths, where Robert worked as a Buying Manager from 2000 to 2005.
