Stephen Battersby is currently the Resident Lead Engineer - Automation at Tesco, a position they have held since 2025. Prior to this, Stephen worked at Dematic as a Resident Lead Engineer from 2023 to 2025 and was a Resident Maintenance Technician. Stephen began their engineering career as an apprentice at McAlpine Plumbing Products from 2014 to 2018, where they also served as a Maintenance Engineer. They studied Electrical Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering at Glasgow Clyde College and completed an HNC in Electrical Engineering at New College Lanarkshire.
