Phil Royston

Phil Royston has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Phil is the CEO & Co-Founder of Tesena since March 2019, where they previously served as the Head of Delivery & Co-Founder from January 2016 to February 2019 and as a Co-Founder from August 2013 to December 2015. Before their role at Tesena, they worked as an IT Software Delivery Manager at Česká spořitelna in 2013 and a Senior Test Manager at Tatra Banka in 2012. Phil also served as a Test and Rollout Manager at Česká spořitelna from January 2011 to December 2011 and as a Test and Release Project Manager at SLSP from January 2008 to December 2010. Prior to that, they held various positions including Test and Release Manager and Migration and Cutover Coordination Manager at Ceska sporitelna between 2001 and 2007. Before their corporate roles, they worked as a Freelancer, Software Implementation and Support Lead from 1996 to 2001. Their early work experience includes roles such as Support Team Leader at Deloitte & Touche from 1993 to 1995, Analyst/Programmer at Campbell Lee from 1991 to 1993, and Team Leader at Aquila from 1988 to 1991.

Phil Royston obtained a BSc degree in Geography and Geology from the University of Hull from 1983 to 1986. Phil also has additional certifications in various fields such as programming, database management, and software testing, including certifications from institutions like Tesena, LinkedIn, Coursera, and iSQI.
