Will Nicholson

Will Nicholson has a diverse work experience. Will is currently working as the Director of Software Engineering at Teslar Software since October 2022, after previously holding the position of Senior Software Engineer for a short period from August to November 2022. Before that, they served as a Software Engineer from August 2021 to August 2022 and as a Junior Software Engineer from December 2020 to August 2021, both at Teslar Software.

Prior to their software engineering career, Will worked at Guitar Center for a significant period. Will started as a Customer Service Associate at Circuit City in June 2006 and then transitioned to the role of Professional Audio/Recording Sales at Guitar Center from October 2007 to June 2009. In February 2013, they became the Sales & Training Manager at Guitar Center and later held the position of Assistant Manager/Professional Audio Sales from October 2011 to February 2013. Will's most recent role at Guitar Center was General Manager, where they had oversight of all aspects of $3M+ revenue from June 2014 to November 2020. In this role, they achieved consistent positive comp and 24 consecutive quarters of profitable business. Will implemented a data-driven approach to metrics tracking, established long-term B2B relationships, and optimized every customer interaction to successfully build on every tracked metric.

Will Nicholson has completed a Full Stack degree in JavaScript/Angular and Java/Spring at LaunchCode in 2021. Prior to that, they pursued IT Readiness: Java Development at the University of Arkansas. Additionally, they hold a certification in Accelerate Leadership Forum from Elevate Performance.
