Aaron Frerichs

Aaron Frerichs has over 20 years of work experience. Aaron began their career in 1999 as a Technical Resources Manager at All County Electrical. In 2005, they became a Software Engineer at Chegg Inc. From 2006 to 2010, they were the Software Development Manager at Planet Discover, where they led a team of application and software developers responsible for building and maintaining the core publishing and search platform, Search Publisher. Aaron also built finditnow.com and several other Ruby on Rails applications. In 2010, they became the Director of Digital Development at The Gazette | Cedar Rapids, where their team developed websites for local businesses and marketplaces for thegazette.com and kcrg.com. In 2016, they were the Director of Digital Development at Fusionfarm. Most recently, in 2021, they became a Senior Software Consultant at Test Double.

Aaron Frerichs attended Iowa State University from 1995 to 1999 where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering.
