James Walker has held several roles in the software industry since 2009. James has worked as a Software Consultant for Gyft, a Professor at Centennial College, and a Geological Consultant for Goldstone Resources Incorporated, where they designed and implemented a 200,000m gold exploration drilling program. In 2011, they also worked as a Mineral Exploration and Development Consultant for the Ontario Public Service. From 2012 to 2020, they were a Stay at Home Father. In 2020, they were a Principal Software Developer and Director of IT for 2D House Inc., and in 2021 they became a Staff Software Consultant for Test Double.
James Walker began their educational journey in 2002 when they completed an HBSc in Environmental Science and Earth Science at the University of Toronto Mississauga. In 2007, they earned an MSc in Geology from the University of Toronto. James then attempted to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Geology at the University of Toronto, but did not complete the program.
