Jason Allen

Jason Allen has over twelve years of experience in software engineering, video production, and photography. In 2019, they began working as a Staff Software Consultant at Test Double, where they focused on developing high quality software solutions. Jason then moved to Randstad Technologies US as a Software Engineering Consultant, providing full stack developer capabilities and site reliability/DevOps engineering proficiencies. In 2017, they became a Senior Software Engineer at Full Measure Education Inc., where they designed and built a communication platform for university, college, and vocational trade school staff. Jason also worked as a Lead Programmer at ConnectionOpen, a realtime voice over IP client/server application. In 2016, they were a Freelance Software Developer for Code for District of Columbia and a Lead Software Developer for HAMfinder. Jason also completed Dev Bootcamp's 19-week, 1300 hour immersive web development program. Additionally, they were a Video Producer/Photojournalist for USA TODAY and a Camera Operator/Photographer for Freelance Film & Video. Finally, they worked as a Contract Director, Camera Operator, and Video Editor for Penske Media Corporation.

Jason Allen attended James Madison High School from 1999 to 2003. Jason then went on to Old Dominion University from 2003 to 2008, where they studied Communications and Psychology. In 2015, they completed a Full Stack Web Development program at Dev Bootcamp, specializing in Ruby on Rails, Javascript, and HTML/CSS.
