Joe Marty

Joe Marty has a long and varied work history. Joe started their career in 1998 as a self-employed Web Developer, and in 2004 they founded Picturelife Media, a small video/audio production business. In 2005, they joined Fermata Nowhere as a Singer, Web admin, and Sound tech. In 2006, they took on the role of Web Administrator at Loll Designs / Tempo Media Group, where they implemented and maintained e-commerce websites using PHP, HTML, JavaScript, and MySQL. In 2010, they became a Senior Software Engineer at OwnLocal. In 2016, they joined Internet Exposure as a Software Engineer, where they designed and implemented a new SaaS product deployment platform called Satorix. In 2018, they moved to Smarter Sorting as a Senior Software Engineer, where they designed and built software/systems and data models and managed infrastructure for the cloud/server side of their device-and-cloud-based client-server application environment. Finally, in 2022 they joined Test Double as a Senior Software Consultant.

Joe Marty attended the University of Minnesota Duluth from 2000 to 2006, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. Joe also attended Minnesota State University Moorhead from 2000 to 2003, where they earned an Associate of Arts in Music.
