Mike Jansen

Mike Jansen has a wealth of experience in operations and software engineering. Mike began their career in 2005 as a Technical Services Representative at Epic, where they advanced into roles of direct manager and technical coordinator. In 2011, they joined 8th Light as a Software Apprentice, learning the tenets of software craftsmanship and gaining proficiency in Ruby, Java, Python, and Scala over a period of five months. Mike then went on to become Vice President of People Operations and Vice President of Operations at 8th Light. In 2016, they joined the Ravinia Festival as an Associate Board Member, where they helped to promote awareness of the festival and its musical programs, encourage audience development, and contribute to Ravinia's REACH*TEACH*PLAY education programs. In 2017, Mike joined Outcome Health as a Senior Software Engineering Manager and Software Engineering Manager. Most recently, they have been working at Test Double as the Director of Operations and Director of Services since 2019.

Mike Jansen attended Northwestern University from 2001 to 2005, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in English Language and Literature, General.
