Nate Kandler has worked in the software industry since 2014. Nate began their career at 20spokes as a Full Stack Ruby on Rails Developer, where they worked on greenfield projects for new clients as well as long term development and maintenance of existing client applications. In 2016, they joined Zeeto.io as a Javascript Developer and Team Lead, where they worked on a MERN stack application handling 250,000 visitors a day. In 2017, they took on the role of Web Development Instructor at Dev Bootcamp, instructing students in Ruby, Rails, and JavaScript development. Nate then returned to Zeeto.io as a Software Engineer, where they worked on a suite of micro services handling 500k visitors a day. In 2019, they joined Test Double as a Senior Software Consultant.
Nate Kandler received a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Science and Government from Roosevelt University in 2011. In 2014, they attended Dev Bootcamp for Web Development. Nate also earned a Luthier Certificate from the Roberto-Venn School of Luthiery in 2001.
