Peter Thompson

Peter Thompson is an experienced leader in quality assurance and testing, currently serving as the Director of Thompson QA Consultancy PTY LTD since September 2019 and a Senior Executive at Testhouse Ltd since January 2020. With a strong background in various notable companies, Peter held the position of Head of Quality Engineering & Testing at ASX from June 2022 to June 2025, Test Director for Services Australia via Infosys from January 2020 to June 2022, and Senior Manager at Macquarie Group for the latter part of 2019. Peter also led Enterprise Testing at Westpac from February 2011 to October 2018, and previously managed testing for Barclaycard and Western Europe at Barclays from April 2003 to January 2011. Furthermore, Peter began a career in testing as a Test Manager at Symbian and as a Test Coach at BNZ. Peter's education includes attendance at Netherhall School from 1977 to 1983 and Fawcett from 1970 to 1978.
