Kate Manire

Kate Manire considers college advising a perfect synthesis of her passions: mentorship and writing. An undergraduate and graduate admissions advisor since 2012, she has helped hundreds of students get into their dream schools, including Cornell, Swarthmore, NYU, Vanderbilt, Northwestern, Johns Hopkins, and many more. As the Director of College Advising at A-List Education since 2021, Kate has supported countless students with customized, comprehensive advising that builds confidence and gives them the tools to thrive well beyond college.

After graduating from Vanderbilt on the Dean’s List in 2012, Kate moved to China to work as a college admissions consultant. It was there that she discovered her passion for mentoring bright young students and helping them write about their interests, including robotics, engineering, physics, math, theater, art, and social justice. At the same time, she cares deeply about college access and helping her students find a college that fits academically, culturally and financially.
