Achiya Elyasaf has a diverse work experience history. Achiya started their career in 2009 as a Teaching Assistant and Ph.D. student at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, where they taught courses on "Computer Architecture and Assembly Language" and "Systems Programming." Achiya also worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow, focusing on learning hyper-heuristics for heuristic search algorithms and mining RNA sequence-structure motifs.
In 2012, Achiya worked as a Consultant for CyActive and JDC, and in 2010, they provided consultancy services to the Association for Equality and Justice for the Disabled.
In 2013, Achiya interned as a Software Engineering Intern at Google, gaining industry experience. Achiya then joined the Weizmann Institute of Science as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow, where they worked on topics related to wise computing, model checking, SMT solvers, behavioral programming, and search-based software engineering.
In 2020, Achiya became the Scientific Founder of Testory Technologies. Prior to their academic and research positions, Achiya worked as a Computers Network Manager at "Ein-Tzurim" Yeshiva from 2000 to 2008. Overall, Achiya has a strong academic and research background with experience in teaching, consulting, and software engineering.
Achiya Elyasaf completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev from 2005 to 2008. Achiya then pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Science with a focus on Evolutionary Algorithms at the same university from 2009 to 2010. Achiya continued their academic journey by obtaining a Ph.D. in Computer Science-Evolutionary Algorithms from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, where they studied from 2010 to 2014.
