Philip Harney

Philip Harney has a diverse range of work experience. Philip is currently working as a Senior Product Owner at TestReach, where they own the exam delivery and invigilation experiences for customers. Philip is responsible for various features such as invigilation dashboards, scheduling APIs, pre-exam system compatibility checks, and supporting different delivery modalities across multiple platforms.

Prior to their current role, Philip worked as an Educational Content Lead at CoderDojo Foundation from 2016 to 2021.

Philip also has experience at Microsoft, where they worked as a Program Manager from 2012 to 2016. In this role, they worked on experiences for the Apps for Office Store and Office 365 Home & Personal subscription management.

Before joining Microsoft, Philip worked as a Financial Software Consultant at Murex in 2009 and as a Tutor at University College Dublin in 2008.

Throughout their career, Philip has demonstrated their expertise in product ownership, content development, program management, and financial software consulting.

Philip Harney has a comprehensive education history. In 2005, they enrolled in University College Dublin and pursued a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree with a focus on Management Information Systems, which they completed in 2008. Following their undergraduate studies, they went back to University College Dublin in 2008 to pursue a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Business Analytics, which they completed in 2009. In 2010, Philip Harney joined University College Dublin again, this time to pursue a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Computer Science, which they completed in 2011. Their educational journey continued in 2017 when they enrolled in Trinity College Dublin to obtain a Postgraduate Certificate in 21st Century Teaching & Learning, which they completed in 2018.
