Rubens Vasconcellos

Rubens Vasconcellos has extensive experience as a Solutions Architect, with their most recent role being at TestReach since January 2021. In this position, they were responsible for designing solutions for the company's online assessment software, including online proctoring exams. Rubens worked closely with the Product Team to refine and prioritize the backlog and designed event-driven microservices using Node.js and Amazon SNS/SQS. Rubens also designed integrations between legacy applications and new microservices using event-driven architecture and the strangler pattern. Additionally, they performed optimizations on the legacy application, provided technical support to development teams, and utilized various technologies such as Node.js, TypeScript, Kubernetes, and AWS components.

Prior to their role at TestReach, Rubens worked as a Solutions Architect at SulAmérica from June 2020 to January 2021, at Stefanini Brasil from May 2018 to June 2020, and as a Senior Software Engineer at CAEd / UFJF from May 2017 to May 2018. Rubens also gained experience as a Senior Software Engineer at Stefanini Brasil from June 2015 to May 2017, a Software Engineer at Affero Lab from February 2012 to June 2015, a Software Engineer at Kali Software from February 2011 to February 2012, and a Junior Software Engineer at Delage from February 2009 to February 2011.

Rubens Vasconcellos completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering from Faculdade Metodista Granbery, which they attended from 2008 to 2012.
